Standard Shipping & Ground Shipping
For continental US, via UPS, FedEx or US Mail, allow up to 10 business days. All orders are shipped from our warehouse located in Southern California. Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of your order, where you are located, and the type of shipping you choose. Shipping times may vary due to technical issues. For any online order in the case of returned items, we do not refund shipping and are not responsible for providing a return slip, this is at manager's discretion.
Free Shipping Offers
Free ground shipping on select orders over $100; Shopping cart total must be $100 or more after any promotions or discounts are applied. This offer applies to ground shipping in Southern California only and does not include expedited or overnight shipping orders. Also not included are items that have to be shipped to the store from a different warehouse depending on the size and charge of the manufacturer to ship the item.
In-Store Pick Up items show as free charge of shipping, only if the item is indicated as being shipped from a warehouse different from the store itself. In order to fulfill any online order there will be a non negotiable shipping fee to the store as determined by the item weight and time necessary. There's an automatic charge of $100 for any large items (ie: electric bikes, large racks, etc...) then there is a fee from the manufacturer that must be paid in order to complete the purchase. This charge is subject to being added to the item during the process period at which time the buyer will be notified of these charges after they've completed the purchase.
Excluded from free shipping and are charged for shipping are closeout sales, reduced price/lowered price/on sale items, used items, international shipments must pay the fee in order to meet governmental standards (see the International Shipping explanation below) Oversized / Overweight do not receive free shipping which may include Bicycles, Frames, Wheels, Trainers and other large packaged items. All charges are at the discernment of DTLA Bikes management.
Note: Returned items on orders with free shipping offer will incur shipping fees if refundable amount puts the order total amount below the free shipping offer total. This will be charged or netted from the refundable amount or onto the credit card from the original order.
We currently do not ship Internationally, but we do breakdown, box & allow for shipping out of our location. Please, understand the steps below for more clarification:
- The customer should bring their bike to the shop for breakdown & boxing
- The customer can go to BIKEFLIGHTS.COM create their shipment labels
- If the customer wants their bike to be retrieved from the shop there must be a minimum 2 days from drop off date allotment before it can be retrieved by the delivery company at this address DTLA Bikes, 425 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013
- ALL PAPERWORK must be either hand delivered or emailed directly to info@DTLAbikes.com and must already be paid. If anything is incomplete the package will not be sent until it is corrected or the sender must collect the item within 5 days to avoid ownership being considered property of DTLA Bikes
- If sender/owner is incapable of retrieving they may provide information for a representative on their behalf with a valid photo ID indicating the person stated by the sender/owner. Or if the owner gets approval directly from a manager of DTLA Bikes validation must be in written form. Then the agreed amount of time will be honored with no prejudice.
Customer Pick Up in Store
Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. Upon arriving to the shop it is MANDATORY to prove identity with a name matching the order name, using a valid form of identification, of which has a photo and full name appearing clearly along with the credit card used to purchase the item. If credit card does not match the name on the ID then the electronic email provided by DTLA Bikes at the time of purchase must be produced. In the case of sending a representative, DTLA Bikes, reserves all right to deny release of any items, at the discretion of management. Please see FAQ for more info regarding policy.

1.1 Purchasing Gift Cards.
DTLA Bikes offers gift cards that can be purchased and redeemed through the DTLA online catalog or in-store. You must have an Account with DTLA Bikes to purchase or redeem Gift Cards; purchasing or redeeming Gift Cards constitutes acceptance of the DTLA Bikes Terms and Conditions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Gift Cards will be provided by DTLA Bikes in electronic form online or as a gift card in-store.
1.2 Redeeming Gift Cards.
Gift Cards may only be redeemed through DTLA Bikes and may not be redeemed towards previous purchases. Every purchase made with a Gift Card (plus any applicable shipping/handling fees, taxes, and other fees that may apply) is deducted from the Gift Card balance and any unused Gift Card balance will remain on the Gift Card account for up to 24 months after original purchase date. If any purchase exceeds the Gift Card account, the balance must be paid with a credit card or any other payment method accepted.
1.3 Gift Card Account.
The balance of a Gift Card can be reviewed by the customer or holder of the Gift Card by entering the respective Gift Card code into the form that is provided by DTLA Bikes for this purpose on the Website.
Balances on multiple Gift Cards cannot be combined into a combined balance on one or more new Gift Cards and Gift Cards cannot be reloaded or recharged, or redeemed together with a coupon or other Gift Cards for the same order. Except as expressly allowed by DTLA Bikes, Gift Cards may not be transferred for value or resold. Except to the extent required by applicable law, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or checks and Gift Card balances cannot be transferred to credit card accounts or accounts of other means of payment. If applicable law requires DTLA Bikes to redeem Gift Cards for cash, check, or other means of payment, DTLA Bikes reserves the right to select any of the foregoing at its discretion. Gift Cards can only be redeemed for purchases in the currency that matches the personal currency preferences set for the respective Account Holder. DTLA Bikes reserves the right to reject the redemption of Gift Cards and request alternative forms of payment, terminate the respective Account, and take legal actions, if DTLA Bikes reasonably believes that Gift Cards are abused or used or obtained fraudulently. If gift card is used 24 months after purchase, but before total amount is liquidated DTLA Bikes, is under no circumstance required to allow usage of the remaining funds. Nor, shall DTLA Bikes, it's subsidiaries & employees be liable to honor the request of any customer to reactivate funds on an expired gift card.
1.5 Risk of Loss.
The title and risk of loss for Gift Cards passes upon electronic transmission of the Gift Card by DTLA Bikes to the customer of the Gift Card. DTLA Bikes has no obligation to replace lost or stolen Gift Cards, but you can report lost or stolen Gift Cards by contacting Management
1.6 Limitation of Liability.
GIFT CARDS ARE PROVIDED BY DTLA Bikes FREE OF ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DTLA Bikes IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, LEGALITY, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THE ITEMS PURCHASED WITH THE GIFT CARD.
Information SecurityWe protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.
Upon purchasing an item seen on the website as available, but the item is either unavailable immediately or not available at all, a DTLA Bikes Associate will contact the customer using the information provided at the time of checkout within 24 hours to provide the option of a similar item which is available or the option for a partial refund. In the case of opting for the partial refund, 10% of the total purchase is retained by DTLA Bikes, while the remainder is refunded to the customer/customer. (not including taxes )

If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Shipment returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs) must be paid for by the sender, DTLA Bikes is not responsible for returned item shipping costs. We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)

On brakes, shifters & derailleurs for new bicycle purchases w/ original sales receipt only. Lifetime adjustments are designed to provide basic adjustments ONLY and if our team determines that a bicycle needs a detailed repair or part change, our Lifetime Adjustments do not apply. If a bicycle is repaired or adjusted outside of DTLA Bikes the warranty will be voided. We work closely with our brands and honor all manufacture warranties on frame/fork and components for the life of the bike.
No returns & exchanges on opened, torn or altered items. No returns on used bicycles, used bicycles are sold as-is with no warranty. In store credit or exchanges must be within 14 days with original sales receipt only. Returns and Exchanges based on managers discretion & will vary on select items. Refunds as in-store credit only, 25% restocking fee may be applied. No returns on SALE items, offers may not be combined with other offers/promotions/deals.
Special Orders & Lay Away
30% non-refundable deposit on all Special Orders and Lay Away. Lay Away program is for up to 8 weeks max, if the bicycle is not paid off within 8 weeks the deposit will be kept by DTLA Bikes.
We back up all work performed by our team for up to 7 days after pick up. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the work that was done we will try our best to make you and your bike happy. All bicycles left longer than 5 days after completion will be charged a $10 daily storage fee. Bicycles repaired and not picked up within 30 days of completion will become the property of DTLA Bikes. Anything powered by electric motor that is sold by DTLA Bikes
Liability and Release
All customers and their affiliates agree to release and indemnify DTLA Bikes and it's associates from any and all liability, suit, or other action arising from bicycle, Electric powered skateboards, Electric Bicycles and any other related activities that DTLA Bikes carries. This applies to in store test rides, group cycling rides, hosted group ride events and any and all services and or parts/bicycles purchased from DTLA Bikes. Parents/Guardians are solely responsible for their children in store at all times.
Photos and Video
DTLA Bikes reserves all rights to use your likeness for any and all online & onsite photos, video or other digital media in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. IIncluding all photos of reference where DTLA Bikes is referenced, may appear, mentioned, tagged, social media, tangible, intellectual properties, photos, references, print, artworks, and entities of equitable gain. I hereby irrevocably authorize the DTLA Bikes to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge DTLA Bikes from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
DTLA Bikes, indicated above as terms and conditions are subject to change at anytime without any notice. We reserve the right to refuse services, refunds, privelges to anyone, regardless of shape, size, gender or color :)
