Shipping & Return Policy



Thank you for visiting and shopping at DTLA Bikes. Following are the specifications & guidelines which constitute our Shipping Policy. Each visitor agrees to abide by the rules as presented in order to use our service. If for any reason these mandates are ignored by any customer DTLA Bikes reserves the right to finacially flag and prosecute to the full extent of the law. Any fraud which is committed to the detriment or loss to DTLA Bikes will be considedered a criminal and taken to Federal Court with no less than a fine of $75,000 or more.
 

Domestic Shipping 

To return your product, you should contact us prior to shipping the item.
 
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
 
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Shipping costs may be an additional fee than what is paid at initial checkout. If declined to pay the fee, you will be refunded the amount paid of the item ordered, however, you will not be reimbursed for the price of shipping.
 
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 
Shipment processing time

All orders will be processed in 1-3 business days from date of purchase. Depending on the availability of the product (some items may not be readily available even though they show as such.) Once the order is fully processed it is then shipped to the address provided by the customer. All delivery times are based on the 5 day work week.


If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone (213-533-8000).



Shipping rates & delivery estimates

All initial shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout, however there may be extra charges depending on the item(s) being purchased. If this the case a representative for DTLA Bikes will reach out and alert you to the amount needed in order to complete the purchase entirely.

* Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

DTLA Bikes ships to addresses within the contiguous United States. Please, contact our staff to inquire about special shipments or concerns.




Shipment confirmation & Order tracking




You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.




Customs, Duties and Taxes




DTLA Bikes is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).




Damages




DTLA Bikes is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.




Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.




Missing Items

In the case of missing items, please contact [email protected] to make a request. In the case that the item is sold "AS IS" (ALL USED, FOR SALE, OR OTHERWISE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT BRAND NEW ARE CONSIDERED AS IS AND MAY NOT INCLUDE ACCESSORIES, PARTS, OR EXTRAS) these items are not refundable and are indicated at the bottom the item product page as well as indicated in the description of the categorical information located at the top of the shopping page.

 

International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

Return Policy

All sales are final.  We are not responsible and DO NOT accept returns for refund or exchange, for items damaged in transit.
 
Refunds and Exchanges

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must first email us within 7 days of receiving the artwork at [email protected] to alert us of the damage, then return the damaged item to us. Upon receipt of the damaged item we will ship out a replacement, if available. If a replacement is not available we will refund the full purchase price of your item.
 
Non-returnable items:


Any gift cards, any item that is on sale, lowered pricing, AS IS, or purchased with discount code.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable). Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
 
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your replacement or refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of 7 days.
 
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]
 
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
 
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are damaged such that the item is inoperable for it's intended use. We do not refund for missing pieces, damaged parts, or unsatisfied with item due to appearance.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and return your item to us. Once we receive the item we will have our agency representative inspect and determine if item is applicable for replacement.
 
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
 
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
