ALC Rider's Paradise Package II

RIDER LEVEL: ENTHUSIAST/NEW

THE WHY/WHAT:

We chose to add this package as an option because there are a lot of people who want to experience the marvelous adventure, but don't want to commit to the cycling life, but want to ride the AIDS Life/Cycle. Check out more information about each of the items that we provide in this option below.

 

Starting things off...

 

THE BIKE:

- The Specialized Allez is an entry level road bike, that won't dent your wallet. Great for rookies to cut their teeth on learning the gearing on this 8 speed Claris groupset and sturdy aluminum frame, gives it enough oomph to match your determination. 

 

THE GEAR:

- Specialized Align 2 w/MIPS Helmet: is a safe, stylish, lightweight, and well ventilated shell is cool & comfortable.

- Padded cycling shorts: Foam padding protects from chaffing & gluteal pain to keep you in the saddle longer.

- Tifosi Swank cycling shades. Fashionably protect your eyes from the sun's rays and look damn fine.

 

THE ACCESSORIES:

- DTLA Water Bottles w/bottle cages: Hydration is a must if you want to cross the finish line on your bike and not in an ambulance.

- DTLA Premium U-Lock: Secure your ride with this small yet strong u-bar designed with silicone covering. Comes w/two keys.

- Smart Phone Mount: Reliably mount your phone to your bike to avoid reaching and potentially injuring yourself or others. 

- Mini Hand Pump: Small enough to attach to your bike, powerful enough to perform under pressure. Light and easy to use on any valve.

- Rear Saddle Bag: Store important items, stash necessary items, and transport personal items inside in an inconspicuous sipper closure bag.

 

THE MUST-HAVES:

- 2 DTLA Inner Tubes: There's more than 545 miles worth of road that needs to be traversed. Always a good idea to bring spares along
