Smoove is based on the same family technologies found on the Swank - durable Grilamid TR-90 frame, scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, hydrophilic rubber nosepiece, integrated cam-lock hinge - with a textured Glide surface treatment on the arms, but has a larger, more rounded lens shape compared to the Swank, and a pronounced 6 base curve for closer coverage to the face.
The Grilamid TR-90 mount is lightweight and of great resistance. It is not afraid of UV or chemical compounds of sun creams. Its TIFOSI GLIDE curvature and hydrophilic rubber pads integrated with the nose support provide perfect fit and support.
The polycarbonate lenses are scratch and impact resistant. Their centered optics eliminate distortion and magnification. In addition, GLARE GUARD treatment reduces glare to reduce eye strain.
With a category 3 protection index and a 100% UVA / UVB filtration, the eyes are perfectly protected in very bright environments such as the beach or the mountains.
